Are You Making This Mistake With Your Home?

Spread the love

Although it doesn’t feel like it in hot n’ humid Tennessee, September marks the end of summer.

But I do loves me this month ‘cuz you can enjoy days at the pool but also throw on your favorite jeans on those cooler evenings.

For me, the change of season is also a time to reevaluate some things in my home. Like seeing which summer clothes I didn’t wear – and doing a mini purge.

Or, fun home stuff like, changing up pillows and accessories for the Fall.

I also think it’s a perfect time to think about bigger changes in your home.

Like how things are (and aren’t) working for you and what adjustments you can make before you head into the holidays.

Are there areas that can work better for your lifestyle to make 2015 even more successful than 2014?

Even if they’re unconventional?(Duh..Duh..Duhhhhh). Yes, change can be scary.

But today’s vid is a goodie and will hopefully get you thinkin’ in a not-so-frightening way – so don’t miss it. 😉

And if you’ve been inspired to re-think a space in your home, puh-lease share it and help motivate other awesome people like yourself.

Thank you, my sweet, for your time and loving support. Until next week, stay happy and peaceful.

Lots of love,
Mridu

This is just what we are doing right now. We moved into a new house about two weeks ago and turned the eat-in part of the kitchen into a work area for me. We’ve also made the guestroom service two purposes since it is so big, and ditto for the master bedroom–I get my craft room in the guestroom, and my husband has lots of space for his small office in our bedroom. It is working out really well.

Wow Heather! That is so creative and inspiring. I love how you’ve made THREE different rooms work for your family and lifestyle. That’s awesome!! Thanks so much for sharing! xo, mridu

I am living in a 5 bedroom house with two dining rooms to living rooms. We use one of the dining rooms for office things and I use it regularly but I have to say with a lap top my office moves with me and I end making a mess everywhere

Manny, is your dining room a “true office” or sort of a makeshift office? Making the transition to “office” might really help with containing that mess to just one space. Just food for thought! 🙂 xo, mridu
