Could You Do This With Your Stuff Too?

Spread the love

Don’t you love when you finally get to check off a project from your list?

Funny how the longer you’ve put it off, the greater your sense of achievement.

My sweet man and I made a serious dent in some long overdue home projects this weekend. I’m talkin’ papers, books, electronics and closets.

And it felt gooo-oood.

We definitely said good bye to a lot of stuff. But just as exciting as decluttering was rediscovering old gems.

And I don’t mean gift cards or letters, but barely used, yet cherished, pieces from our wedding, holidays and even childhood.

In today’s video I’ll show how I use one of my favorite gifts that recently resurfaced.

And I’d love to hear what you could dust off, get out from storage, rediscover and simply use. C’mon over to the comments below and let me know.

I love your enthusiasm and awesome support!

Here’s to a happy and healthy week ahead.

P.S. I know it’s only July and my new program isn’t scheduled until September but I’m SOOO excited about it. I’m putting together the best of my best for you! Seriously, can not wait for you to see it. More deets to come shortly… 🙂

Heather

I have two silverware sets that I never use (one from each grandmother). This video inspired me to put notes in my Google calendar to clean one for use just before Thanksgiving and the other just before Christmas.

That’s awesome Heather. I’m sure you’ll love using them. And I’m so impressed with you putting it into your calendar now. So inspiring! Thanks for sharing. :)) xo, mridu

Leanne

I packed away my Noritake china from the 1970’s but I saw it in a box in the garage the other day and I just may get it out and start using it again. (I’ve always loved it) Anyway, “retro” is back!

Mridu

It IS back…and that’s a great idea Leanne. Get some use out of it instead of letting it rot in the garage. Good for you!! Thanks for sharing. xo, mridu

Mmnn. Trying to think what would be suitable. Part of the deal might be that you dispose of, or pack away, something else.

Mridu

I think that’s a good part of the deal. 😉 If you need to put something away in order to make room to take something else out…that’s totally okay. It will still be so much fun to use something you haven’t, for a long time. How fun! xo, mridu
