Do This To Get Rid Of A Lot Of Clutter

Spread the love

I can’t take it any more.

I have a pair of gorgeous boots that have needed to be re-heeled for…wait for it…over two years. (It’s even more embarrassing writing it out).

I. AM. OVER. IT.!

Sweet cobbler (who’s only three miles from my house – yes, really), here I come!

Two years is a long time for those comfy booties to be collecting dust. Part of me is plain ole’ lazy to take them to be fixed.

Part of me fears that they’re not fixable. (I’ve already had them re-heeled three times). This may be the end of the road.

Whatever the reason, I continue to work my life around those non-useable boots.

– When I need more room for my shoes, they get shoved to the back.

– When winter boots come out, they get tossed to the side.

– When I’m decluttering and rearranging, they got thrown in a corner.

All because I haven’t taken care of what needs to be done.

On today’s LIO TV, I’m sharing one of the best decluttering tips I’ve used all year. It’s helped me finally move forward, make decisions and get rid of things I really don’t need.

When you’re done watching it, I’d love to know if you’re going to join me in this week’s challenge. It’s so motivating and fun — why not??

Don’t forget – the more you practice something, the more of a habit it becomes. I can’t wait for this habit to sink in for me – and for you too!

So puh-lease let me know how it goes over in the comments below.

To avoiding, avoiding stuff! 😉

XOXO,
Mridu

Mridu, this is too funny! I, too, have a pair of boots that have been sitting in the corner of my trunk since this past winter waiting to be re-heeled. You have inspired me to get this taken care of today, despite it being close to 100 degrees here in Dallas!
I will have you to thank this fall/winter:)
Always love your videos. Miss you

So glad to know I’m not alone! 😉 Awesome – so proud of your instant action. Best to do it when it’s on your mind, right? Way to rock this weeks challenge. And I miss you too!! XO, m

Love this idea. I’m going to start with one item a week instead of 3. I’ve decluttered enough that I have very few things. Starting with a blouse I love that needs a seam sewn.

One item a week is perfect Fran! Way to get going on this. And thanks for motivating others! xo, mridu
