This App Is A Life Changer

Spread the love

I’m finally home and settled after three back-to-back trips: India, Dubai and L.A. And as always, I love traveling but it’s sooooo good to be home.

So between my boys, hubby and business you can only imagine how much I had to get organized before I left. Lists were my best friends.

One of my many lists was for what I needed to pack for each destination. Each place had distinct events and weather, which made it pretty overwhelming at times.

Like thinking about the shoes alone was enough to throw me in a tizzy.

I needed black and gold heels for my Indian clothes, walking shoes for Dubai and comfy pumps for my conference.

Needless to say I was SO thankful for an awesome tool that helped me take the worry out of “what if I forget this?” and “I have to make sure I have that.” What a lifesaver!!

I’m seriously head over heels about this thang and I can not wait to share it with you. So check out this week’s video. It’s a shorty but goody.

And when you’re done watching puh-lease share your thoughts about it.

Do you think this technology tip will help you too? And where’s your next travel adventure going to be?

I’d love to know!

You know you rock for watching, for your continued support and most importantly, for taking action. I’m proud of you sweet friend.

Remember, every small step you take is one giant leap closer to a more simplified and rewarding life.

Until next week Lifer!

I’m going to try it. Getting ready to leave for a trip this weekend. I’ll let you know how it goes!

We use OneNote to keep our travel checklist. We tend to travel to the same sort of places for vacation (Caribbean cruises), and we just update the checklist with anything we found we needed on one trip so that we don’t forget it for the next. Also, we can share it and have an offline version on each of our phones for access all the time. (Yes, we are those people you see in the middle of the Caribbean Sea still glued to our phones…) Still, this sounds like a pretty cool app.

I love lists! What a great idea. I no longer have to create my own list and worry that I forgot something on my list.

Awesome, can’t wait to hear about it Jennifer! ๐Ÿ™‚ xo, m

I know, I love this too. Especially how it customizes for where you’re going and who you’re traveling with. So different to travel with kids or without, domestically or internationally. Thanks for always joining the conversation Charu! xo, mridu

I love how you’ve simplified your travel checklist and made it work so efficiently. Fantastic idea Heather. Really appreciate you sharing it with us. Cheers! Mridu

Already purchased it for a weekend trip to Rock Island, TN so that I can remember not only all of the right clothes, shoes, etc., but also all of the food, drinks, etc.! Thanks for the tip

Chiming in to say I use and love OneNote, too! You can make a whole notebook for travel and keep all the info in one place! The packing list, reservations, itinerary, any confirmation emails, maps, related web clippings, etc.
However, I think this app would be very helpful in addition to OneNote since it tailors the list to the destination. I’ll have to check it out for my next vacation ๐Ÿ™‚
Another app with lots of checklists you can import is Cozi.
It would be fun to crowdsource what other great organizing apps people use to stay organized. I get my best ideas from other people most of the time:) So thanks, Mridu, for introducing me to this one!
