the everyday belief that keeps you procrastinating

You plan a 45-minute walk but snooze for 15 minutes, so you skip it.

You need hours for a project so you wait for a free day. Who knows when that will happen?

You have hours of reconciliations so you’ll do it when you have downtime. Now you’re months behind.

Do any of those scenarios sound familiar?

Procrastinating because you need more time.

There’s a good chance you have this problem.

The all or nothing mentality.

It’s like, if I can’t meditate for a whole 30 minutes, what’s the point?!

There’s actually a huge point.

Something is always better than nothing.

A bunch of little something’s add up to a big result.

** A 20-minute walk 4 days a week is nearly an hour and a half of movement you wouldn’t have had.

** A daily 15-minutes on referral emails is 75 minutes towards new sales every week vs. scrounging for them when you need revenue.

** A few 30-minute blocks for your 4-hour project will have it complete by end of week, instead of stressing last minute.

Something is always better than nothing.

It’s time to ditch the all or nothing mentality.

It keeps you procrastinating important things you want to get done.

It keeps you feeling like the weight of the world is on your shoulders.

It also creates a bad habit of waiting around.

…For the perfect time.

…The perfect day.

…The perfect opportunity.

As if 4 or 8 free hours are going to magically show up on your calendar.

Spoiler Alert: It’s not gonna happen.

Listen sweet friend, you already have everything you need to get ahead.

Embrace that fact that something small is always better than nothing at all.

Break steps down. Take little actions.

Progress keeps you moving whereas waiting keeps you stuck in place.

Choose to do something small.

In fact, start right now.
