3 easy steps to kicking butt every day

Here’s something I know for sure.

If you did these three things every single day, you’d move closer to every goal you care about.

At work AND at home.

You’d procrastinate less.

You’d stop ending your day wondering what you actually did.

You’d feel successful instead of behind.

Are there more productivity strategies out there?

Of course. I teach a lot of them.

But if you only did these three consistently, I promise you this:

In the next one week, you’d make more meaningful progress than you have in the last two months.

This is what I share with my clients.

It’s my most requested talk.

It’s also the foundation of my book.

And it’s simple.

It’s my framework called: A.C.T.

(Because if you want different results, you have to act differently.)

#1: A: Avoid distractions

This is the foundation.

Without focus, everything takes longer.

You multiply the time it takes to finish even simple tasks.

You chip away at your brain power all day.

  • You answer one message.
  • Then check another.
  • Then switch tabs.
  • Then half-listen on a call while starting something else.

By 4:00 pm, you’ve touched ten things.

And nothing feels done.

When you don’t avoid distractions, you live in scatteredness.

And that’s exhausting.

So ask yourself: What’s distracting me?

  • Is it notifications lighting up my screen?
  • Is it a cluttered desk pulling at my attention?
  • Is it constant noise or interruptions?

Then decide what you’re going to do about it.

  • Turn off notifications.
  • Put your phone in another room.
  • Close the extra tabs.
  • Clear your workspace.
  • Use headphones.

If you walk away with only one thing, let it be this:

Protect your focus like it’s your most valuable asset.

Because it is.

#2: C: Commit to a power hour

Now that you’ve protected your focus, what are you going to do with it?

Commit to one fully intentional, fully deliberate hour a day.

Fully focused on one priority that actually matters.

Not email.
Not catching up.
Not being responsive.

Your power hour is typically the thing you keep avoiding.

  • The proposal you haven’t started.
  • The strategy you’ve been thinking about.
  • The workout you keep postponing.
  • The conversation you’ve been putting off.

It feels big. Or uncomfortable. Or imperfect.

And it’s also the thing that would make you feel amazing if it were done.

When you give that one hour your full attention, you build momentum.

And momentum changes everything.

#3: T: Time plan it

Here’s where most people fall apart.

They love the idea of a power hour.

They just never decide where it lives.

If it’s not on your calendar, it’s not real.

Block it. Protect it.

Treat it like a meeting with your future self.

The best time? When you START your day.

Before the interruptions.
Before the meetings.
Before the day gets swallowed by requests.

When you win the morning, the rest of the day feels lighter.

And even if the rest of your day is full of meetings and unexpected fires…

You still moved the needle on what matters most.

Every. Single. Day.

The Bottom Line

You can stop reacting to what’s loudest and start choosing what matters most.

It’s absolutely possible.

And you have more control than you think.

Follow this method every day:

Avoid distractions

Commit to one power hour

Time plan it

You don’t just check boxes.

You feel proud, clear, and sooooo accomplished.

When you practice ACT daily, you build trust with yourself.

And that’s where real results and confidence come from.
