how to not get sucked into social media

If you want more of the right people hiring you, they need to know about you.

That’s why visibility is more important than ever.

And why social media may play a big part in your business.

Often, you have the best of intentions about working on it like:

“I’m just going on FB to do one post…”

or “I’m gonna check out LI for maybe 5 minutes and then I’ll get back to work…”

or “I’m hopping on IG to find inspiration…for just a sec…”

And it’s time quicksand.

You get sucked into the social media vortex and can not claw your way out.

47 minutes later you’re like “where did my morning go and why haven’t I gotten anything done?!”

It’s so frustrating.

As a successful biz owner, you need to be spending time on social media but feel confident you can walk away when you need to.

This isn’t as easy as it sounds, right?

Which is why I’m tackling this time-sucking challenge over two podcast episodes.

This week’s episode is all about creating parameters or boundaries for yourself when it comes to social media.

Next week I’m sharing simple ways (and lots of examples) to systemize social media for you and your team.

I promise you, you can use social media to lead to business-growth without wasting hours of your precious time.

The 4 strategies I share are the ones I use for my own biz to keep the socials running like a well-oiled machine, even when I’m tempted to scroll endlessly.

And boy, am I tempted.

You don’t work this hard, for so long, to not feel great about your results.

If you’re regularly sucked into the social media vortex, it’s time to try something different.
