Stop using old strategies

Raise your hand if this was you in your 20s…

You could keep things together…there were stressful days but you didn’t always feel out of control…you definitely got by…

To think you can use the same strategies as a decade or two ago when your home life and work life was way less complex is quite frankly damaging to you.

I see awesome women damaging their health and relationships all the time by:

  • Taking on a do-it-all-myself mentality even when they’ve gone from only taking care of themselves to supporting a team, kids, parents, and friends
  • Letting their hobbies go amidst taking care of everyone else’s needs, feeling resentful or less than because they’ve sacrificed what lights them up
  • Putting on excess weight and pant sizes due to the stress of time-wasting, indecisiveness, and general overwhelm
  • Being wishy-washy about boundaries
  • Not updating or creating systems at home and at work, even though their roles and expectations have completely evolved
