I have to tell you about THE best system ever.
It’s how I manage all my to-do’s and tasks across my life.
It’s exceptional.
It will totally work for you.
Unless it doesn’t.
Maybe you’ll hate Notion (my new life management tool).
Or maybe you’re an Outlook diehard and hate Google Calendar.
In fact, maybe you hate digital stuff altogether and drool over your leather-bound planner.
What works for me may not work for you.
It doesn’t make my system or your system any better or worse.
Because there is only ONE system that works for certain.
The system you’ll use.
Don’t get caught up in what you think you should be using.
Don’t get swayed by the latest app or tool your kids tell you about.
Don’t get swept away by the hype of a 6-step workflow.
Do I have recommendations? Sure.
But chances are your family is different than mine, your business is different than mine, and your thinking is different than mine.
Which means the tools or processes that work for you might be different than mine too.
Answer this one question to know if your system/tool works.
Does it give me the result I want?
If it doesn’t, it’s probably time to try something new.
If it does, don’t fix what not’s broken.
It’s easy to fall into the trap of seeking the one perfect system.
However, there’s a fundamental flaw in this thinking.
The perfect system doesn’t exist because our lives are dynamic, and our needs and circumstances are constantly changing.
The key to a successful system lies in personalizing it to you (and to no one else).
In other words, the absolute best system is the system you’ll use.
Don’t get wrapped up in anything else.
