Productivity isn’t just about what you do.
It’s about what you stop doing.
If you’re craving more clarity, momentum, and peace in your day, hit pause on these 3 things that quietly steal your time and energy.
Thing #1: Stop Getting Bossed Around By Your Phone
Every ping, buzz, and banner drags you away from what matters.
It lures you into a spiral of half-finished thoughts and scattered energy.
You don’t mean to give your phone that kind of power…but here we are. AGAIN.
So here’s the power move:
Turn. It. Off.
- Silence the alerts.
- Disable the badges.
- Hit pause on your inbox.
- Shut down the apps that keep sucking you in.
You don’t need more willpower.
You need fewer interruptions.
Take 60 seconds to clean up the noise, and watch how fast your clarity returns.
Seriously, change just one thing on your phone to limit the distractions. Just one.
You can dooooooo it!
Thing #2. Stop Falling into the Email Void
You get 15 free minutes between meetings.
Your 1:00 cancels.
You finish a task early.
And what’s the default move?
“Just check email.”

So stop overloading it.
Get things out of your head and into a trusted system.
A notebook. A task app. A spreadsheet. Sticky notes, if you must.
The point is to release the mental clutter so you can focus on what matters…
…Without that nagging “I’m forgetting something…” feeling lurking in the background.
Be obsessive about getting thoughts out of your brain.
