why you feel defeated

I don’t bake. No, really. I don’t bake.

The one time I tried to bake chocolate chip cookies was my last.

I added too much flour. (who knew 2 cups didn’t really mean 2 1/2 or 3).

I didn’t soften the butter enough.

My dough was sticky.

I may have possibly burnt the bottoms…like a lot.

My son took a bite, scrunched his nose, and perched up in his sweet 5-year-old voice: “mommy, I want that one” pointing to the box of Chips Ahoy sitting on our counter.

Not gonna lie. I felt defeated before I even started.

I don’t want you to feel defeated too.

Sometimes it feels like no matter how hard you try, no matter how much energy you put in, your day just feels…well…useless.

You wonder why you’re exhausted when you have so little to show.

What would you do if I told you I might have a simple solution to this problem?

Honestly, the fix is much easier than you think.
