Ya know what you need to do?
You need to wake up at 5am to make the most of your day.
You also need to shake your booty for 43 minutes to maximize your productivity.
And you most definitely need five small meals to get the most energy.
How do I know what YOU need?
I don’t.
But that’s what most “experts” will lead you to believe.
What works for them is exactly what will work for you.
There was a time just a few years ago when I listened to the gurus.
I was struggling to keep everything in my business and my home life together. I was tired of “just getting by” – barely staying afloat.
So I listened to what “they” told me I NEEDED to do…
But somehow their techniques or solutions never really gelled for me as they did for them.
Which would then frustrate me and make me feel “less than.”
Now I know why.
It’s because they taught me methods that worked for THEIR personality, not mine.
Maybe they were a morning person, but I was a night person.
Maybe they were single, but I had kiddos.
Maybe they were a visual learner, but I was an auditory learner.
That’s so NOT how I roll.
Any of my clients would tell you they hear a lot of “test and tweak” recommendations from me because I get that what works for me may not be the exact right next step for them.
Which is something I cover in this week’s podcast episode.
Something I was told I needed to do was to meditate.
But it never seemed to work for me the way it worked so well for everyone else.
I felt like I could never get it “right.”
Guess what? I still haven’t gotten it right.
But I do it anyway…in my own unique way.
