Did you know I’ve always been jealous of friends who could sleep in ’til noon? Who am I kidding – it’s more like 10am!
Even as a teen or in my twenties I’d be up by 9am waiting for my friends to show some sign of life so we could dissect every detail about the cute guy (and his annoying girlfriend) from the night before.
It wasn’t unusual that I’d worked out, showered, done laundry, and cleaned the apartment by then.
Years later, I met my hubby, then-boyfriend, who was even more motivated than me to make the most of his time.
He’d jump out of bed early, with a new idea of where to eat or what to do that day. (For reals, he’s still like this 19 years later).
My best friend told me that he was the only person she’d known that made me look lazy. Which I did not take as a compliment.
Needless to say, I pride myself on being on the go.
Until recently.
Now I’m all like: puh-lease, let me be the laziest lady I know!
Find out what happened, why I’m BFF’s with being a lazy person (and how you can be one too!) on this week’s podcast episode: “Why Laziness Takes You Further.”

But don’t be an overachiever and be too lazy to listen to it. 😉
It’s 20 minutes, the perfect amount of time while you’re on a drive, walk, or making a meal.
XO, Mridu
ps – My teen boys love to sleep in and it makes my hubby cray-cray! Every weekend is a sleep battle in the Parikh household. 😉
