The Pillow Test

At the heart of my talk is a simple question: “When my head hits the pillow tonight, what would make me feel successful?”

Most people start the day focused on what they need to get done.

The Pillow Test shifts the focus to how you want to feel when the day is over.

Before your day begins, take a moment to answer that question.

Then let your answer guide your decisions, priorities, and attention throughout the day.

Behind The Red Dot

I walked off the TEDx stage and burst into tears. I forgot a few lines, stumbled, and lost my place. I remember thinking, “Well, that was a disaster.”

Fast forward to the week it went live. Since then, my inbox has filled with messages, comments, and kind notes from people sharing how much the message resonated with them. (And no, they’re not all related to me.)

Apparently, the biggest critic in the room was standing on the red dot.

If you’ve ever ended a busy day wondering, “I did a lot… so why do I still feel like I got nothing done?”…This talk is for you. It’s about one simple shift that will help you feel successful every day. If it resonates with you and you’re up for helping me get this message in front of more people, here are three easy ways:

1. Like the video
2. Leave a comment
3. Share it
