Back in my twenties, hopscotching from the East Village to Tribeca, my hot black leather pants and I were inseparable.
I loved those skin tight beauties more than any piece of clothing I have ever owned.
Fast forward, now my only inseparables are my yoga pants.
Along with my Lulus, I also love a few tools I started using in 2021 and I thought I’d share three of my faves with you.
They’ve helped me be more productive and empowered in my biz and personally.
1) Notion
Notion’s a project management tool to capture and manage your bazillion thoughts and projects.
I’ve been a loyal Evernote user for the last decade. But I was at the point I needed a more robust project/life management tool, thus the transition to Notion.
Not gonna lie.
It’s not the most intuitive thing and does have a learning curve.
But after watching a few vids and playing around with it for a while, it’s my new BFF.
If you’re looking to totally organize and manage all the projects in all the areas of your life – it’s worth checking out.
2) Blinkist
I loves me personal development and business books and always have a few on my nightstand. But two problems:
- I feel like I can’t catch up with them all
- Sometimes they can sum up the main points in about one chapter (AmIright??)
Enter: Blinkist.
It’s a professional book summary service that gives you the key insights from non-fiction books in 15 minutes or less.
I’ve really enjoyed listening to these as I’m falling asleep. It’s almost like listening to a meditation – positive takeaways embedded in my mind as I’m winding down. Also, great for short car rides or walks.
3) Sleep Cycle
This app tracks and analyzes your sleep patterns (including snoring, sleep talking, coughing, and other sounds).
It also has an intelligent alarm clock, that gently wakes you up while you’re in your lightest sleep phase.
It’s fascinating to know about my sleep and be able to link it to how I feel, what I’m eating, and my motivation levels. If nothing else, it’s definitely heightened my awareness of how important good sleep is.
Okay, now your turn. What’s a tool you’ve fallen in love with? Shoot me a message back and let me know.
I’m always looking for ways to make life easier and would love to hear from you.
Happy 2022!
Xo,
M
