your key to improvement

When you think “improvement” what comes to mind?

Maybe it’s adding something better.

Like when a chicken dish doesn’t come out great, you add more salt or garlic.

But what if the way to improve was to take away? To decrease instead of increase?

Like maybe the chicken needs less water so the spices are more flavorful.

And that, my friend, is the thinking of high-performing women who are uber successful.

They’re always thinking:

“What can I take away instead of add more to?”

Really productive women hack away at the unessential so they’re left with what makes the biggest impact and with what makes them feel most successful.

Removing thoughts, clutter, and activities frees up time and energy for you to do more of what you really want to do.

When you don’t hack away at the unessential tasks, you tend to add even more tasks to your life and then…you overthink.

AmIright?

It’s not your fault. It creates a sense of justification.

You’re like, if I keep adding more and spin in circles I can tell myself I’m being productive, which justifies my stressful situation.

It’s also a good way to procrastinate.

The more you add, the harder it is to take action.

So you keep adding tasks to rationalize why you’re overwhelmed.

I challenge you to call yourself out on this.

Do you add more to to your list instead of sticking to your top priorities before jumping into the other things?

Do you ask yourself throughout the day,

Do I have to do this right now?

What can I strip away?

What is most important?

What can I let go?

What is TRULY essential to my growth, to reaching my most important goals?

I want you to be fully in control, totally on top of your game.

I know you can be.

Hack away at the unessential.
