You don’t have enough time because…

You don’t have enough time NOT because of…

Lack of help.

Lack of resources.

Lack of hours in the day.

You don’t have enough time because…

You lack clarity.

You don’t know how much to accept given the hours and resources you do have.

You don’t know how to focus now or what to focus on next.

You don’t know how to say No even when the voice inside of you is nudging you to.

At the same time, it’s not your fault.

It’s easy to lose clarity when you’re learning and expanding.

You take advantage of so many opportunities (hello shiny object syndrome), shackling you to distractions and scatteredness.

It’s easy to lose clarity when you have a hundred demands vying for your attention.

It’s easy to lose clarity when you’re more connected by technology than ever in history.

It’s time to get clear.

You can’t just wish you had more time.

You have to know how to intentionally plan your day.

With your energy.

Between your commitments.

In spite of your overflowing inbox.

You need to understand WHY you overextend yourself and HOW to get out of this vicious cycle.

You do this when you know what’s really on your plate and the resources you have.

It’s easy to list your projects BUT…

The art of being a business owner is to ask the right questions.

  • Do I really know how long each project or task will take?
  • What pieces can I delegate, automate, or even delete?
  • How can I make the process simpler, faster, or easier?
  • Where can I better set expectations?

These are the most profitable and time-saving questions to ask yourself.

Ask them. And then keep asking them.

Spinning in your head about not having enough time doesn’t serve you.

You do have enough time when you’re clear on what you want and what’s most important to you.

Time isn’t about how many hours you have in a day.

It’s about how you’re using them.
