How To Decide What To Keep

Spread the love

Today marks my second day with both kids at school.  That makes this mama very happy.  Luckily I was able to celebrate my first day of freedom with girlfriends over mimosas and chocolate-covered pretzels.  What would a girl do without her posse?!

But before school started I had this anxious “nesting” feeling.  Like I had to get through the kids clothes and school paperwork before the new school year started.  So, alas, it was a weekend of tough decisions about what to save and what to keep.

It’s just something we all suffer through when we’re ready to purge and make room for new experiences in our life.  But luckily you can watch my video to see how you can make these tough decisions easy.

When you’re done watching please take a look at something you’ve been thinking about purging and let me know if this strategy works for you.

Also I want to let you know that I have a bunch of things brewing (I’m talking a new look and some discounts) so be sure to check in the next couple weeks.  I can’t wait to share everything with you.

Thank you, as always, for your support by watching, commenting and forwarding to friends.  Keep believing in yourself.  You have the ability to take control of every aspect of your life.  You go girl!

Having moved every 3 years for the last 15 years I can totally agree with your practical approach for getting rid of those things that we hang on to but which end up cluttering our lives. Yes, the collection of yoga pants is certainly one of them!!! We have to get out of the mind set that MAYBE we will use it SOME day. If I haven’t touched it in a year and it’s not tax related, it goes into the trash or donation piles. Great video as always 🙂

Girl, you are the Queen of Moving! So I can only imagine how many times you’ve been forced to “declutter.” Yet, it’s amazing how quickly it can all pile up again. I love your “one year” rule. Something I try to stick to also..but it does take some encouragement at times. 😉 Keep up your great attitude and motivation! You rock.
