Shoe Organization Ideas

Spread the love

I’m so excited to get my six pairs of zumba sneakers delivered tomorrow.

Relax. I ordered six pairs but I’m only keeping one.

If you don’t use Zappo’s, you’re missing out. They make shopping for shoes ridiculously easy.

They encourage you to order as many different pairs and sizes to try on, and send back the ones you don’t want. (No shipping either way).

So once I decide on which pair I’m keeping, the next step will be to get rid of my old sneakers.

But purging shoes is tough!

Sometimes you have a pair that matches with one specific outfit…and how can you get rid of those??

And then they’re the shoes you wear ALL the time that you can’t live without. (Hello black boots!) I’ve gotten some shoes re-heeled three times before I’ve finally passed them on!

In today’s video I want to show some really simple shoe organization options. (The purging part calls for a whole other episode. 😉

Check it out and let me know if you like any of these real-life solutions or if you have suggestions for other ones.

Don’t be shy to leave me some lovin’ in the comment box below.

Thank you so much for watching and for all your support. I hope you know I’m crazy appreciative of you!

Can’t wait to “see” you again next week, -M

Oh, I so meant to add the in the over-the-door organizers which are great for flip flops or kids shoes! Darn…next time. 🙂

Thanks for this! I went home and purged a bit.. It was hard because each shoe has a story so not only did I take a pic of them but am saving them for my next trip to give away to someone in need.

Right on sister! I love to give away shoes (and everything else for that matter) to peeps who could really use them. Thanks for sharing. xo, mridu

And when you organize and purge be sure to DONATE what you don’t need/want to Souls for Souls!!

I LOVE that organization! The Nashville Chapter of NAPO (Nat’l Association of Professional Organizers) did a huge shoe drive with them last year. It was a big success and so much fun to be a part of. Thanks Perian! Completely forgot to mention that. xo, Mridu
