This Is One You Won’t Want To Miss!

Spread the love

We all have them.  Things we know we should let go of, but just can’t.  Does letting go of our stuff mean we’re letting go of our memories?  A lot of people seem to think so.  And I used to be one of them.  But I’ve realized that they are two very different things.  Because even when our stuff goes, our memories survive.

Watch to see the shenanigans I pull to get rid of my stuff.   And more importantly, get inspired to deal with your “must have forever” items.

I’d love to hear what item you’ve been holding on to  (even though you know you shouldn’t), why you’ve been keeping it and if you’re ready to move on.  Let me know in the reply box below.

As always, thanks for watching and supporting the organizing gospel.  Please share the love by forwarding this blog to all your sistas. (Bruthas are welcome too!)

Wishing you a happy and productive week ahead!  xoxo, Mridu

I can’t even dream of trying to fit into my old jeans! My rule…. Unless it is special occasion…. I you have not worn it in the past year… It goes!!

I hear you sista!!! I’m pretty much the same way…with the exception of those jeans! What was wrong with me?! We’ve got to keep each other motivated and committed to “our rules” of keeping our lives clutter-free. 🙂

Oh my gosh…that one almost made me cry!!! Love it…you are awesome and of course, great advice. Even I don’t have such old jeans…!!!!

I’m glad you don’t! Clearly we all have our weaknesses…and I finally confronted mine 😉 As always, thanks for your support sweetie.

Thanks Mridu for this piece, it was escially freeing!! I was able to send 2 bags to charity:). It definitely feels good to have some additional space in my closet. Now I wish I had done so much sooner:(.

Wow! What a great feeling! Don’t beat yourself up for not getting it done sooner. Instead celebrate your accomplishment and use it as motivation to get other areas cleared 🙂 Good for you girl! -mridu
