Decluttering Secret Benefit

Spread the love

Today I want to tackle a topic you might be dealing with right now — decluttering.

It’s around this time of year you might find yourself making room for everything that’s potentially coming in – like guests, gifts and goodies.

There are a lot of benefits of decluttering that I’m sure you’re familiar with: more space in your home, less stuff everywhere and less stress in your life.

In today’s episode I’m going to tell you about one other benefit – that you might not always think about.

But it’s an important one and because of it you might get motivated to create a “DR” – a Decluttering Routine.

Stay tuned to see what I’m talking about. And when you’re done, you know I’d appreciate nothing more than some lovin’ from you in the comment box below.

Please let me know what small decluttering routine you could put in place or if you found this tip helpful.

With lots of love and appreciation,
Mridu

I will try to keep the kitchen table clean or less messy. Actually when I go to the store and look at the prices that detersw me more than anything!

Thank you for the tip. You are right it really makes a difference as far as what you are willing to allow back into your house. I need to step up on the decluttering. I am going to try to concentrate on decluttering the flat surfaces ( desk, table and countertops). I will allot 15 minutes a day to this and see how that goes.

15 minutes is perfect!! More than that and the task can seem daunting or unachievable to do every day. And it’s amazing how much you can declutter in just 15 minutes of focused time. Thanks for sharing Terry! xo, Mridu

You hit the nail on the head. Starting with one, small space is key to really making this happen. Great idea Mary!

Love your videos I clean my kitchen/dining room every night after dinner and the foyer. waking up to having these areas clean gives me more energy to clean and declutter other areas.

I’m the same way! I love to go to bed with my kitchen and family room clean because those are the first places I see in the morning. thanks for sharing this great tip Elaine. xo, mridu
