How To Organize Kids Papers – Part 1 of 2

Spread the love

This was a big week for me. My hubby and I celebrated ten years of negotiating dishes, laundry duty, disciplining kids, financial discussions, personal development and home renovations…otherwise known as married bliss. ๐Ÿ™‚

“We” turned ten years old.ย  I can always remember how long we’ve been married, based on my sons age, because our first anniversary was spent with him in my arms.

And in those last nine years with my baby boy I’ve been inundated with an unbelievable amount of papers from his preschool, pre-k, kindergarten, first, second and third grades as well as camps, activities and home play time.ย  Seriously, how much paperwork can one child generate??

Apparently, a lot.

So what do you with all this stuff?ย  Watch today’s short video and see what to save and what to get rid of.

Then please let me know which one of these tips resonated with you OR if you have any other tips on how to pare down on your kids collection.

Love you for watching.ย  And by the way, if you have a mommy friend, please copy the url of this page and forward it her way.ย  You’ll feel really good about yourself afterwards.

Can’t wait to see you next week for part 2.ย  Keep up your positive attitude and remember, small changes make a big difference.

With love and appreciation,
Mriduย

With an 18 month old you’re probably thinking, how can there be so much paper?!! But it’s amazing how quickly it all piles up. Great that you’re already thinking about it and will be well prepared ๐Ÿ™‚ xo, mridu

Happy

15 +15+15 for a year? That’s 45 to go through when looking at a “timeline.” I was surprised you recommended keeping that much. 45 x 3 kids x 10+ years of school??? Let’s pair it down a lot more!

LOL! I’m laughing because I do pare it down a lot more for myself personally; closer to about 20 pieces a year. But if your child is bringing home 400-500 sheets of paper a year, 45 is just 10%! I thought that was a pretty good start for most people. ๐Ÿ˜‰ But, yes..if you can simplify even more, fantastic!!
thanks for your comment. xo, mridu
