The No-Fail Technique To Simplify Your Holidays

Spread the love

I had a great morning today.  For the first time ever I got my butt to the gym and back home before the kids were up.  They got themselves dressed and were ready for school early.  No tantrums.  No yelling.

On mornings like this I think,… “sure, I could handle another one.”  And then pick-up come around and two screaming kids wrestling over a water bottle later, I’m quickly back to thinking, “two is more than enough.”

There are definitely shades of gray when it comes to simplifying your life.  Sometimes simplifying makes things a lot easier.  But other times it feels like you’re giving things up.

Holidays are a particularly challenging time to make this distinction.  If I do too little will I look like a loser?  But if I do too much will I burn out before our perfectly crackling fire?

Today’s video will show you how to take out the holiday stress without doing much less.  (I’m a poet and I didn’t even know it). 😉

When you’re done watching I would so appreciate your thoughts in that good lookin’ comments box below.    Let me know how you plan on simplifying your holiday season.  Come on, get in the holiday spirit and share!

And until next time my dear — stay happy, healthy and warm.  You’re fabulous for taking  steps to living a more awesome life.

With much love,
Mridu

I was planning to cut down on decorations. My kids are protesting. Maybe they will decide to decorate it themselves. Wouldnt that be nice?

So we have a tree up with lights, but no balls, etc.
