The Must-Know Technique to Organize Your Life

Spread the love

I just got back from the one of the best weekends ever.  One of my closest childhood friends got married and I enjoyed four days of unbelievable celebrations.  (Yes, that was four days! Welcome to an Indian wedding!)

I can’t stop looking at all the photos and reliving the memories already.  And can’t wait to make my photo book and include a bunch of memorabilia from the festivities.  So what should I do?  Make a book just for the wedding or include her shower too?  How do I get those 3-D pieces like, invitations, in there? At the end of the day, my photos mean more to me than most of the things I own.  So I know their organization deserves some thought!

The answer is simple.  Just check out my short video to find out the must-know technique to organize YOUR life memories.  I promise, this is a good one!

And then please take a moment to tell me this:

  • What creative or memorable things would you like to capture in your album?

Wishing you a wonderful and relaxing weekend!  As always, thank you, thank you for your support.

xoxo,
Mridu

I did a book for Emilia when she was about three of my favorite.
pictures and then never did another one. I knew I wanted one for Julianna too and she turned three a few months ago so finally I did one for her too for fathers day. I also have her with her family, made sure there were good pictures of the grandparents and sent it to them for fathers day too. It was a huge success. I want to start doing them every year I have so many art work the kids have done for almost ten years now. I would love to scan that stuff and get rid of boxes of stuff they have no interest in looking or even remember making. I did not think of movie tickets or concert that would have been cute Julianna just went to her first movie and her first concert The Fresh Beat Band…oh joy.

wow, girlfriend! amazing ideas! just the piles of school work alone gets me stressed! I hadnt thought about movie tics, games, etc! and I love the idea of an annual book! I will do it this way now. iPhoto makes it easy as it divides by the events by dates so the year access is simple! I have been prepping for individual books (bc I have not done ANY books yet! yes Im a slacker!) but I will do the annual books…just not sure I can include as much as you did…organizational queen! love you!

Congratulations on getting your books done! And what a fantastic Father’s Day gift! Seriously, people remember their photo books/slideshows more than any other present. Keep it up!! xoxo, mridu

I love you too Michelle! And you’re right, iPhoto (on the Mac), really helps simplify things. I love the annual book…just wish I had more time to dedicate to these things! oh well, guess that means I need to blog about time management next 😉 Good luck on your books! Let me know how they go. xoxo, mridu

Thanks Sonia! There are sooo many things we can scan and include, it can actually get a little overwhelming. So just keep to a few things a year…”that tell the story.” Thanks for your message. xoxo, mridu
