My Top 5 Most Efficient Apps

Spread the love

I’m a big personal development fan. Always reading a book about creating better habits, more self awareness or adopting mindsets to build a better biz and life.

Lately I’ve been reading a lot about self-sabotage. Of course my immediate thought was “I don’t sabotage myself from moving forward. Of course I want to grow!”

And then I started reading about the realities of limited self beliefs, stories we tell ourselves, procrastination techniques, and other conscious (or sub-conscious) ways we hold ourselves back.

Um, totally guilty.

Clearly I have a lot of work to do. ๐Ÿ˜‰

One self-sabotaging action I see all the time in organization and productivity development is the fear of embracing a new way of doing things. And this usually has to do with with the Terrible T: Technology!

Ok, technology is actually not terrible at all. It’s obviously allowed the greatest strides in mankind, not to mention brought our world closer together. I’m still amazed that I’m reaching you from another city, state or even country!

But still, it’s scary. We’ve all had our experience when some technology tool failed us. Erased your emails, lost your recipes, or overcharged you without you knowing.

I get it. Been there one too many times.

But I have found some tech tools that have changed my life – completely. I’m talking TOTAL. OVERHAUL.

They’ve saved me countless hours, loads of unnecessary communication and infinite frustration. Today I’m sharing five apps that I use, love and highly recommend.

And I would love for you to embrace just ONE of them that you aren’t already. And then post your brilliant confidence over in the comments so all our LIO friends can cheer you on!

It takes courage to make change. And I know you have it in you. Have faith and stay committed.

To making your life easier!

Mridu

If you take medications and need a reminder, try Medisafe. My daughter found it for me when I was having caterac surgery and needed to use drops for many days and multiple times a day. It really kept me on track!

I have tried to use Evernote and it didnt work for me. Problems is space on my tablet and doing stuff on laptop when I gen just use tablet. Phone is Tracfone is that should say alot. I really need the password manager that is secure. Which leads me to my question: I am reading alot about going paperless (ahem) but the problem with Evernote is security. Saw a video that was in 2011 that recommended manilla which is not defunct. I think m y prob is small tablet, small iphone and laptop being old.

Hey Mary, I know how frustrating it can be to try an app and then not have it work the way you want it to. One thing I wanted to make clear is that Evernote (and lots of apps) can be synced to all your devices – so you can have access to them on your phone, tablet or laptop. And I wasn’t sure what you meant about Evernote not being secure. You do need a password to get into it, so although I wouldn’t put all my bank info. in there – it seem secure enough for everyday stuff. Unfortunately I can’t advise on manilla bc I’ve never used it. Keep trying different apps though until you find what works for you. Because when you do, it’s life changing! Good luck! xo, mridu

I think the question I had was regarding scanning imp document and they being secure I have since learned evernote has an encryption feature .

Shibani

I can’t wait to check out scannable! Scanning anything is torture for me and takes about an hour of my time to get it done at an outside venue. You are brilliant! Thanks for the tip!

Mridu Parikh

I literally just used it yesterday to sign and send back a document. I love it…and know you will too! Thanks sweetie for all your support as always! xo, mridu
