Use This To Get Your Papers Organized

Spread the love

There are a lot of different places you could put your papers, right?

Strewn across your home, in neat piles on your desk, in filing cabinets, or where ever they happen to land when you walk in the door.

No matter how much our worlds are going digital, papers are still a constant battle.

Today’s video is focused on a specific type of paperwork. The lingering projects. (Ewwwww).

I know you have them. Probably a lot of them.

They’re papers associated with projects or tasks that go on and on and on.

Like that billing issue with your credit card that hasn’t been resolved for three months. Can’t get rid of all that backup and those confirmation numbers.

Or that shirt that’s been on backorder for eight weeks. Can’t toss that receipt, catalog or email trail until it arrives.

They’re not only frustrating because they hang over you like a dark cloud but you never have the paper trail when you need it. When you’re finally ready to sit down and deal with it, you have to search for your pile.

Or when you get a random phone call about one of the items, you have to rummage through your stacks in hopes they don’t hang up on you first.

(Been there, and so over that!)

Check out my vid for the easiest peasiest way to keep these lingering nightmares together in one easy to access and easy to find place.

And you know the drill, my sweet friend.

Puh-lease leave me a comment below about what you think about this simple idea and if you’re going to put it into action immediately.

Thank you so much! Love of love,

Ahhhhh, as much as I love my piles, I will be happy to see them go. Thanks for the tip. I think I am more thrilled that it’s a practical solution-I’m not very good with converting things to a digital space. (I was hoping you weren’t going to tell me to scan it!) …I’m getting one of these right away. Thank you!!!

Awesome Shivani! Yes, the piles get old after a while, don’t they. 😉 Would love to hear how the portable filer works for you. Thanks for sharing my friend! xo, mridu

I love this idea, especially since I have many piles and have struggled for years to tame them unsuccessfully. The next problem I anticipate is not having enough room to hold my papers….I was in the process of trying to implement a better filing system so as not to have papers all over since I believe I have to see them to remind me that they need to be dealt with/followed up on. But again, enjoyed the video and looking forward to tackling this area. Have a great week.

Great! So glad this was helpful to you. I would recommend a filing cabinet for longer term papers (that you’re no longer working on) like insurance papers, taxes, medical records etc. Good luck with this! Papers are never ending so it feels great to get a handle on them. 🙂
