An Easy Way To Boost Your Motivation

Spread the love

Guess where I am?! In beautiful Rome with my awesome hubby. Do you hear the silence too? Yes, no kiddos. ๐Ÿ˜‰ We are so fortunate that our parents can watch them while we’re enjoying a short getaway.

It’s so important to take a little break from your routine and do something for yourself. Whether it’s as big as a trip or as small as 15 minute walk, I truly believe it helps to be a better you.

Which actually brings me to today’s message about celebrating your everyday successes, especially those seemingly little ones you take for granted

I want to share a simple technique I’ve been using lately that’s really helped me feel good about myself and stay motivated. I can’t wait for you to check it out.ย

And after you do, puh-lease let me know what one of your small wins are. I’d love to hear from you my dear friend.

Thank you so much for your support. And I’ll see you again next week.

Ciao!

Hi Mridu, you are absolutely right when you say we as women don’t always realize what we’ve actually accomplished in a single day because we are so desperately trying to be super women and accomplish everything in one day. Well today you made me realize something important and that is that I managed to get my health back on track by following through with a much needed procedure. There are also other wins . Week which I will write down on my new app. Thanks fir such s wonderful tip Mridu and have fun in Rome.

I heard of this same idea called a “Ta-da!” journal on paper instead of an app. It really does help. I put the “big” things in the margins with a single word so that I can review quickly what has been accomplished over a period of time like one week, one month, 3 months. It becomes surprising over time how much really does get accomplished beyond the daily things that have to get done to keep things going.

That is so great to hear! Getting your health back on track is a BIG win..but I can see how doing something for yourself is so easy to get overlooked. I hope you appreciate ALL your wins, big and small. Thanks so much sharing. xo, mridu

Betty, thanks for the great tip. I know not everyone wants an app so I really love the journal option. The important takeaway is to recognize and celebrate all that you do, no matter what form it’s in. Thanks again! xo, mridu
