My 6 Fave Closet Organizers

Spread the love

Growing up there were six main reasons I adored my closet:

#1: It’s where I plastered my Duran Duran posters (inside and outside of the closet door).

#2: It’s where I kept my diary under lock and key in my awesome hot pink safe (which was of course, embellished with Duran Duran stickers)

#3: It’s where I stored my boxes of polaroids and piles of self adhesive photo albums

#4: It’s where I collected and kept all my mix tapes (obviously!)

#5: It’s where I stashed pen pal letters and notes passed in the classroom about my latest crush

#6: And of course, last on the list: It’s where I dumped my clothes. Just needed a place to wrangle up my stuff so my mom wouldn’t bug me.  😉

But now, I’m a long way from my overstuffed, haphazard closet.

It’s evolved into a practical and inspirational space.

And even though I don’t have a walk-in with spinning shoe racks, lighted display cases and room for lounge chairs, it doesn’t make closet organization any less important to me.

Having the ability to find what I need, feel good in what I have, and get dressed with ease and peace — sets the tone of my entire day.

Am I right?

So today I want to share my new and improved top 6 reasons I love my closet. 😉

Actually they’re my top favorite closet organization tools.

I love them because they help me:

  • sort and contain
  • are low investment
  • and work great even in my builder grade, white wire shelving with no fancy upgrades master closet.

When you’re done watching today’s vid, here’s what I’d love to know from you sweet friend.

  • Do you think any of these organizers can help you in your closets?
  • OR, better yet, do you have another organizer that you love that you’d be kind enough to share?

Collaboration is the key to inspiration, so puh-lease don’t be shy to share your beautiful thoughts and ideas down below.

To mix tapes, pen pals, and love notes!

With love and appreciation,
Mridu

Absolutely Michelle! You can find the slanted organizer on Amazon. I absolutely LOVE this brand! http://www.amazon.com/SOFI-Bankers-Closet-Storage-Foldable/dp/B00PRZ762S/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1456933522&sr=8-3&keywords=SOFI-Bankers-Closet-Storage-Foldable
As far as the shoe organizers I got them at Target (years ago) but have also seen them at The Container Store. And am betting you could find them on Amazon too (since everything seems to be available there!) 😉 Hope that helps and thanks so much for your support. XO, Mridu

Great organizers Mridu! I think the sweater divider bin could be perfect for my daughter! If it comes in pink 😉 Where did you get it?

Mridu Parikh

Allisa, I got mine at Target, but I’m sure they’re available on Amazon and/or The Container Store. So much fun to have a girl! I miss out on all-things pink with my two boys. 😉 Thanks for support! xo, m

I also use hanging shoe organizers, like the hanging “jeans” set you showed. I fold T-shirts in my hanging “jeans” organizer.

That’s such a great use for it Tina. I loves the versatility of those drawers! Thanks for sharing. 🙂 xo, mridu
