Two Tips To Kitchen Organization

Spread the love

I’m celebrating my “baby’s” tenth birthday and I still can’t believe it!

A decade ago my life was completely different. I had a corporate job, living in NYC and didn’t have a clue that one day I’d be helping women around the world live happier.

At that moment all I could think about was this precious piece of perfection in my arms.

No matter how many nieces, nephews, brothers, sisters, cousins or godchildren you may have, you can never really appreciate what it means to have a child until you have your own. Know what I’m sayin’?

In our hectic lives, we don’t have much time to just sit back and reflect. So I try to do it on these few very special occasions. We pull out baby books and oooh and ahhh over how small their fingers were and how much they’ve grown.

I get all teary eyed, remember my life dreams, and then…reality hits.

The oven buzzer goes off, juice spills on homework and my younger one is crying over the inhumanity of not having an XBox.

A quick wipe of my tears and I’m back to mom duty. I’ll take another three minutes to reflect when my other sons birthday comes around. 😉

In the meantime I’m on a mission to get myself in and out of the kitchen as quickly as possible.  (Dinner time can be rough!)

And I want you to know the two super simple and useful tricks I use all over my kitchen to keep things running smoothly.

Check them out in today’s short video where I’ll show you examples plus my most fave label of all times. It’s a goodie so don’t miss it!

And when you’re done, please share your awesomeness in the comments below. Let me know if you found these tips helpful and if you have any others to share with other amazing ladies like you.

Thanks so much for supporting me week after week. You rock!

Loved your kitchen organized. I am in the midst of redoing my kitchen. Where do you buy chalkboard labels? Yes, about using storage containers and baggies crush, get greasy and stale. Containers stack more easily.
Thanks

This is a great post@!!! I’m already doing this to a certain point, but am just using masking tape and a sharpie to label. I Love the Chalkboard labels!! Thanks girl, always helpful:)

Awesome! Never heard if the chalk, and I have lots of mislabeled stuff (messyyy…). Will get the chalk ASAP

The link to the labels as well as the pen is right below the blog post. I ordered them both from Amazon. (you can also do a search on Amazon for “Chalkboard Labels” and a whole bunch of them will come up.
Good luck with your kitchen! That’s quite an undertaking but I’m sure you’re going to do amazing!!! love, mridu

You’re so welcome! I seriously use them everywhere. Another great place is on kids clothes boxes because they keep growing out of clothes and then you get rid of them, then get new ones etc. So much easier to use these instead of changing the label every time. Thanks for your message Emily! xoxo, m
