Why Resolutions Don’t Work

Spread the love

Happy 2013!  I’m super excited about this year.

I’ve made some major changes in my business to give you the most valuable information I can and challenge myself more than I ever have before.

In fact, I’ll be changing my name, revamping my website and launching my first ever product.  Lots of exciting stuff brewing and I can’t wait to share it with you in another month or so.

But for right now, I want to talk about you.

I’ll bet you’ve got some area of your life that you’d like to get more under control.  New Years is usually a time to make resolutions.  Unfortunately February or March is a good time to break them. 😉

The problem with resolutions is they’re not backed up with concrete action plans.

Watch my short video for the step-by-step process to make action plans — so you can achieve and stick with your goals all year round.  These action plans involve “mini-goals” so you can build one mini-goal on top of the other.

And when you’re through please let me know one of your goals for 2013 and three of your mini-goals to make it happen.

Wishing you the most successful and happy year ahead.

With lots of love and appreciation,
Mridu

I am not much on making resolutions for this very reason you dont keep them. So if losing weight was your goal (and isnt if for most of us) the then still feel fat and your a failure with no discipline. And if that was not bad enough I had to spellcheck discipline. I want to eat better in the new year but it is only the 4th of January and I am writing this while eating some strange new snack from Costco that is a brownie/brittle something I could seem to spell. It is like the burnt part of a brownie but flat like a cookie I am not even sure I like them but I cant stop eating them. I need to work on my mini goals fast!

Nancy, you crack me up. I want to eat better too so one of my mini-goals is to not buy random brownie snacks at Costco. 😉 Just kidding! thanks for sharing your thoughts. Remember, one little mini-goal at a time sweetie. You can do it! xo, mridu
